My Story

My name is Eric, I'm a professional digital designer and 3D artist based in Australia. My story is that I love visual creation since my childhood, though it has been challenging to remain as an artist, having lost my full job in the early days of the pandemic and trying different things to get back up again. Now, especially in the growing environment of AI taking over my industry, it's tough. However, I hope to embrace this technology since my stubborn self is reluctant to throw out my all my learning and development over the many years of practice to start all over again in another field. So at the end of 2022 I started investing time into learning more about AI image generation on platforms such as Midjourney, Dall-e, Stable Diffusion and Leonardo AI. The technology is fascinating but not perfect yet, I thought I could utilise this opportunity to apply my skills to make it even better. This is how I got into starting Siriux Art, which the name is derived from Sirius with a modern spelling twist, meaning the brightest star in the night sky. I pronounce it as Serious Art, and hope this new venture can be the bright star providing amazing visuals to enlighten your experience. So here I am, starting this online shop selling wallpapers working countless hours to grow a small business and learning more about entrepreneurship along the way.

Behind the scene, every digital wallpaper goes through a creative creation process of image prompting, experimenting, photo retouching, artefact clean-up, color grading, and adding my extra touches of magic to enhance the overall visual aesthetics. The ones that past my quality satisfaction check gets listed in my Etsy shop, and frankly there are so many that does not make the cut. On top of that, the marketing side can be quite labor intensive, coming up with strategies to captivate new audiences. It's a lot of work for an individual but it is part of the learning experience. Though, all this effort to make a sale is well worth it. I thank everyone who has made a purchase, it means so much to me to keep this glowing star shining brightly. Even more rewarding is when the work is appreciated by many of the customers. Every single reviews and stars collected at my Etsy shop helps give that extra motivation, exposing the work to others in discovering my shop.
